I have about 5000 miles on my Lee Perfect Powder Measure, and just last night it started leaking in this area:

I was using Accurate No 9, when it begin to leak.  I guess my question is, is this just a fact of life and live with it, or should I save my pennies for something nicer, a Hornady or RCBS powder measure loaders?  It just bugs me.

Mine leaks with small ball powders. Everything else works great in it. Just a design flaw. You can take it apart, clean it, and polish the cone shaped area to improve this, as it is made from plastic and some powders cut grooves in it over time.

Yeah Mine has leaked there from day 1 with certain powders. I just tighten the screw a little bit.

This, with Titegroup, I did the screw tightening thing as well, helped a bit.

I set mine over a paper plate to catch what I could.
