Beretta PX4 Storm...Any thoughts?

I bought this gun a few years ago but have only recently started shooting it.  I've fallen in love.  It's the full size, .40 cal, single/double with manual safety and de-cocker (the F model).  When off-duty I carry it everywhere.  My question is what others think about it.  While I'm not going to let others tell me what I like I am interested in seeing what others have learned about it, the good the bad and the ugly.

The wife has one in 9mm and she seems to love the darn thing. It is a good shooter, reliable and to top it off she's a pretty damn good shot with it. :pleased:

Most accurate handgun I ever shot.

Just could not get over the safety is the opposite direction of a 1911 ... Only reason why I sold it.

Could see myself relying on muscle memory in a time of stress trying to shoot with the safety on.

I have one.  It has a big slide and is a bit ungainly, but it is a Beretta.

I have 3 of them which is a pretty good indication that I like them.

I have never had any issues with any of them to include my 9mm full size that has several thousand rounds through it.

I've owned a full size and sub compact

Maybe I got spoiled with my CZ and Sig double action pistols

I felt the transition from double to single action was tough to get use to ... The double action felt a mile long to me ... Your mileage may vary

They were both 100% reliable and still enjoyable handguns

I think they are great guns and built well and ery accurate

only thing I hated about it was its resale value, its the worst I ever experienced

No one wants them !

The wife has one. She likes the weight. How it shoots. There does not seem to be much lots of recoil compared to other guns. This is only based on the 9mm she has shot. We have not tried other calibers of it.
