AK question

I'm gonna hold off for a bit and try to do a little more research on these things...I fondled and worked the action on several CIAs, Zastavas, and WASRs....for the prices I saw I just didnt feel confident paying the asking price on those rifles...if they were a little cheaper in price I would have no reservations.... I guess the Arsenal will have to do for now, hopefully I will be able to find a sub $500 WASR in the next few months...

Most of the AKs I've ever racked feel like they shouldn't really work reliably, including my own.  :)

With the unrest going on in Russia and our President's use of EO's, fear is not going to let the price come down. I expect them to steadily clime with each news story out of Russia. Hopefully, the next presidency can put us back on track internationally and lessen the pain. Either way Russia is not going to ease up, it's just a matter of slowing down.

In short, if you are planning on getting one I'd recommend getting one sooner rather than possibly never (at these prices).

Just learned how to post pictures so here is a late picture entry of my PAP M-70 all blacked out in truck bed-liner and Hogue grips; I'll be trimming the length of the optics riser so that I can drop a rear peep sight on for open sight use.BlackedOutAK.jpg

These aren't issues to be concerned with IMHO
