If you really want something like a PRS JoeBob sells them for $209.95 (with free shipping).  http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/MAGPUL_PRS_AR15_M16_stock_p/mag-307.htm

Then you'll still need the kit.

Or you could go old school and get a complete A2 stock kit for $58-$64....http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/AR_15_Standard_A2_Buttstock_Assembly_Kit_Black_p/utg-rb-t469b.htm or http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Standard_A2_Buttstock_Kit_p/rra-ar0074k.htm

For some reason, I didnt like the A2 stock. The one I am after or similar is this one http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/magpul-moe-rifle-stock-kit.html But PSA is out and I have no idea on the price.

JoeBob has that for $64.95.....http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/MAGPUL_MOE_Rifle_Stock_MAG404_p/mag-404.htm.  Then add the kit for $38.95...http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/A2_Rifle_Stock_Completion_Kit_p/brn-080-000-554.htm you're at $103.90 shipped.

The PSA kit was last priced at $119.99.  Hint:  on their out of stock stuff you can click "add to compare" then the compare button and it will show the price they were charging.

If you've never ordered from JoeBob's be assured they are one of the finest online stores out there....fast shipping and excellent customer service.  I'm not the only TGO member who can say they've got a lot of my business.

I will go that route then. I checked with all the local shops and the one that had it, just had the stock. I dont really know that many trusted sites so I was a little hesitant at first. I did check the other site from the GTO vendor listings but they didnt have it.  Also notice that it has a place for a screw? Or a bolt towards the lower part of the upper. What would go on it?

I believe the holes you see are for QD sling mounts.  The only place a screw goes in on any fixed AR stock is in the butt to screw into the buffer tube.  That was fun to say.

What would be something good to fill the holes with?

I left mine open in case I want to put a sling mount on one of these days.

I think you'll like the MOE. I went back and forth before choosing it for my last build and I'm glad I did. The LOP is almost perfect, there no fussing with anything and it seems quite durable. Good cheek weld, multiple sling attachment points, ample storage... I'm a fan for sure.

You're unlikely to find an absolutely screaming deal anywhere that will make you regret a purchase from Joebobs. They have consistently low pricing and while their stock was a bit low for awhile (just like everyone else) they never raised a price for an in demand item that I ever saw.

If your really worried about getting the best value for your money throw a free tshirt in your shopping cart.

I went ahead and ordered it. I saw one at a everything weapons and they wanted $89.99 plus tax, so the joe bob's is a great deal. I was tempted to use the military discount, but it felt wrong and its really easy for people to use it with them. Other than that, this is going to be a fun rifle. Just need to buy a m203 and somehow get around the stupid destructive weapons bs associated with trying to fire shotgun shells out of a nade/flare launcher.
