Believe i or not I have never watched the first show of that program. I saw a clip or two of it and it was just not something that reached out and grabbed me plus it is one of those series that if you miss a week or two your lost for next two months trying to catch back up. I try to avoid those type programs.................jmho

I watched all of season 1 and most of season 2, a little of 3 and hardly any of the latest. If the show moved quicker with less soap opera, and maybe a plot closer to the comix, then maybe it would have retained more interest.

Of course some sections of the comix were loaded with soap opera and slow as paint drying, but in the comix you can skim over the stretches of "nothing happening except parlor room psychology". Wheras with the TV show if somebody edited out the useless scenes and plot elements, then maybe each of the recent shows would only be 5 or 10 minutes duration. Maybe after the saga is finally finished, an editor will make a mercifully shorter version for the aspbergers and attention deficit disorder audiences. :)

The show should have stayed closer to the comix plot line, and season 4 ought to show Rick getting over-run in the DC compound by now.

They released an image of comic cover with Daryl Dixon on the cover....the anger was mixed.

The plot wouldn't have had to be identical. I like the Daryl character.

For those of us that watch the show, missing a week is not an option.

Yeah but the comic purists had a cow when people not in the comic was in the show. I guess they missed the part about it being an alternate universe. I'm pretty sure the meth from Breaking Bad wasn't in the comics either.
