Leupold MK4 M2 Dark earth 3.5x10 Illum.

I have an opportunity to buy a slightly used Leupold Mk4 m2 3.5X10 illuminated recticle dark earth finish.

My question is , is this scope worth the extra? I understand these have better glass, 1/2 in adjustments.

What would be a good price for this I think you can buy one for 1400 or 1500 new.

Any experience you have with the MK4 will be appreciated.

Yep herogear, you were exactly correct, He asked 800 the dropped to 750 and sold it , 5 min before I got there! Missed that one. Thanks Again.

An M2 is 1/2 MOA adjustment, an M1 is 1/4 MOA, and the M3 is 1 MOA elevation and 1/2 MOA windage.

In the $750 price range there are some pretty nice Leupold scopes you can pick up new. Just depends on the application.

My buddy got one for his Sig 556 and loves it. I have not had the chance to shoot it yet (Nor has he had much time at the range with it yet) but am hoping to here in the next month or so. So far though he loves it and thinks it is the cats meow.
