Putin's Pipeline

Recommended Posts

A 17-year-old who owns a Mosin Nagant often asks me to take him to the range.  A few days ago he only had a few rounds of 7.62x54R so we stopped to shop at two stores.  One had none at all and the other had only the high priced hunting stuff--no FMJ.  Today I found some Russian-made Wolf steel cased at 13.99 per box of 20, so I picked him up two boxes.  This got me to wondering if Russia moving on Ukraine and Obama's threats of sanctions might cause the Russian ammo pipeline to dry up.  There's still the American made, but this kid's got a tight budget.

Sgammo has some Prvi Partizan Ammo and Wolf for less than 11 dollars a box of 20.

I have not seen Russian x54r ammo in forever.  I am sure someone can prove me wrong and that it was around last week, but there is plenty from old commie countries available.  About 100 buck for a can delivered.

I think most of it is Russian now. The Czech stuff has not be available for several years,  Romanian and Polish were around a few years ago as well, but not so much now.
