Trust questions

Recommended Posts

I have been debating on going the trust route for some time. I have an SDN-6 in jail right now but am getting ready to form 1 an SBR and but a few more cans so looks like the trust route would be the way to go. My question is are trust super complicated or pretty simple? I follow a company on Facebook and they are offering trusts for $95 right now which they usually charge $295 for. Should I stay away from them and pay a good bit.more or would this be perfectly fine? Here's the website if you guys would like to look at it and check it out.

I don't go to my barber and ask for a steak and I don't go to the butcher and ask for a hair cut. In the same sense I don't feel comfortable going to a "rifle works" for a legal document. Sure they probably have a lawyer draft them but I doubt you get any kind of personalized service from it. There are several ways to set up the trust, settlers, co-settlers, trustees, and beneficiaries. Things that could be beneficial or cumbersome later on. Personally I would call Chip Cain and pay extra.

Agreed - I'd call Chip or your other attorney of choice - most any who have estate planning should be able to draft up a trust that checks all the boxes!  I've seen plenty of Bubba'd up "legal documents" from companies who try to draft documents they have no business doing, but I've also seen some pretty great ones - personally, I'd just go the attorney route, much safer on your end.

Check out John Wells in Brentwood... I put it off for sometime and man was I happy and surprised at how easy and affordable it is, and very quick also .
