After down sizing my pistol collection and up sizing my rifle one, this is what I am left with.

If I still had my taurus model 99, taurus six in model 65 and my glock 17 4th gen, this would have been a much happier family. My two D100's looked lonely and I was itching for another 1911. I know I have a 1911 issues, but this remington R1 is stealing the whole show.

I love my Remington R1 as well. Somebody told me the stainless ones were less accurate. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will probably end up buying two r350 regents before too long. The regent series have been pretty damn awesome so far. Or I find another r1 in stainless. Handguns look goofy without a twin.

You maybe a little disappointed with another r1 in SS. Remember the r1 you have has upgrades like the trigger, hammer, grip safety. The stock r1 will look like your other 1911 just in stainless steel. Of course Sam Hoster could make it look just like the SS R1 you have ;) Edited by joe45

Thats my only nagging fear.

My Sig 1911 got a muzzle brake and a full-length, recoil-reducing guide rod yesterday.

The muzzle break takes away from the purity of the 1911 you heathen.  :yuck:

I know it helps, but it always makes a 1911 look goofy with one.
