i may have the opportunity to trade for a walther pps and would greatly appreciate some input.first off any educated guesses what said pistol might be worth?secondly if you cant find ammo for it,is it worth anything?its chambered in 9x18 ultra.i did some checking and anywhere i found that did have that ammo was out of stock or back ordered.so any help,and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance.

Ok, THAT sent me digging. First, there is no Walther PPS in that caliber. You're talking about the PP Super, a completely different gun.

I have no experience with a PP Super. Sounds like you're going to be doing reloading if you want ammo. (After you find brass.) Personally, I wouldn't go for it. I've owned a few of the modern PPS pistols, and they are great guns in available calibers. Might want to look at those.
