Glock mags... Why so expensive?

Yeah, as someone who recently spent about $100. on 2 M&P mags, my sympathies are pretty limited. :)

I never cared much for Glocks, wasn't a hater by any stretch, just never desired to own one and had shot only a few. My mind is starting to turn a bit though. The mags aren't too pricey, the design is solid, and if I go for a model 19 I can share magazines with my sub2K. It may be time to rent one for an hour or so and see if it works for me. Hard to imagine it won't though.

I never liked them or the way they felt in my hand. I had a relative leave his at house for a couple years and said shoot it and I did.

I could not get a group going or get the hang of it. A lady police officer knew I had it and her dept was thinking of going to them

and She wanted to try it out and shot a jagged hole in bullseye at 20 yds so I knew it was not the gun but me. From then on I

seen the trigger pull was unlike any other and once I got that down in a few minutes have never seen a reason to own anything

else in centerfire.

One of my family members travels to a bunch of auctions, he called me two weeks ago and said that there was about 30 Glock 22 magazines up at a city auction. I told him not to put more than $15 a piece in them, he couldn't believe they would even be worth that. He said they went for $330, not too many people want to invest that kind of many into a stash of Glock mags. I bet they could have split them up and got more in small lots. He did score some cases of ammo in 9 and 40 that was a huge deal.
I would gladly pay $30 per mag for a handful of them for my M&P 9 which are $40-$45 IF you can find them. The $25-$30 mags are the only reason I have been considering buying a Glock. Guess you're not getting sympathy you had hoped for on this one huh ;)
$24.95 at GT Distributors for M&P9 mags $21.95 for Glock mags and $27.95 for the 33rd ones.

CDNN has them every day for $24.99.  Glock mags are the pot of factory mags, they the cheapest thing there is!     Most other factory mags are $40 to $60 a pop. I got 4 USP 45 mags and it was $240.

I don't see why people get the Asian mags when the Factory mags aren't much more.

I remember when the Korean mags were $9 each, they sold a lot of them then. Most of the others probably sold when threats of a ban were thought of.
