I found one that is bluetoothed and has a 720p camera. As much as it might be considered a privacy concern, they seem really cool.

Only for those whom are prudes but my intended purpose would not be spying and if someone had parked one of those in the airspace around my house for a length of time I'd probably bring it down. I'd just love to use it down at my river property to scout out the area layout. These things would also be a great hunting aid too getting you an eye in the sky and to watch for patterns. I was thinking it'd be a great addition for SHTF security.

I thought about buying one and using it at work when things get really slow. House wise? Already witnessed a RC helo crash when my dad as dicking around with the annoying ass neighbors. Hunting? I dont think this model is meant to high wind speeds and since its blue toothed, it probably does not have the best range.

I was talking about using the one from the video and equipping it with a go-pro but your last sentence does bring up the issue of bluetooth/wi-fi telemetry range. Hmmm, a conundrum...

I keep forgetting about the Go pro. But the video stream on this particular unit was superb. And all the blades have a foam housing to mitigate the force from impacts. I just would much rather pend $200 on rifles/pistols/ammo/parts or legos. Since both a expensive ass hobbies.

Class 1 BT & WiFi max out at about 100yds, line-of-sight. You can get a longer-ranged WiFi for the base of operations, but I'm not sure how you'd shoehorn extra transmit power on the drone.
