RBCD Ammunition

I was looking at some ballistic tables for 7.62x39 and RBCD's round its substantially hotter than any other manufacturer. It sits at 2390 Ft-lb at the muzzle, traveling at 3100 ft/sec. My question is whether a round like that will negatively impact the firearm? It would obviously be operating at substantially higher pressure... Input?

Thanks

I would like to see some independent verification on the velocity. More importantly I would like to see an AK launch a 112 grain projectile at 3,100 fps. I would not want to be anywhere around it If it in fact makes those numbers.

I have talked to them on a couple of occasions when I was looking for adequate subsonic bullets. They are definitely full of themselves and very arrogant to a potential customer. And if you question their numbers be prepared for a very rude response.

Here is a testimonial

Military Action

December 2005, north of XXXX Iraq, my recovery team came under fire from several insurgents in a pickup truck. I was on watch when the vehicle came within 10 meters from my position. One of the insurgents in the bed of the truck identified my position and pointed his AK-47 toward me. My M-4 was chambered with RBCD Performance Plus 5.56 ammunition and it is my belief that without the RBCD's ammunitions ability to cause cavitations from fragmentation (Military ball ammo would have simply penetrated and passed through the insurgent resulting in my demise - I would like to take my time and congratulate and thank RBCD for manufacturing such fine ammo). Your RBCD product saved my life because three rounds neutralized the mentioned insurgent and gave me the ability to engage every other occupant of the vehicle, which would have taken my life without a thought. Thank you for the fine ammunition which you produce, and thank you for giving me the ability to protect myself better in combat and now at home.

Proud American Soldier

All kinds of problems with this if you were in the military.

They have "testimonials" from people saying they have to make sure to close their mouths because of the "blowback" from the target. Another is when a suspect was shot and he landed 6 feet outside of the door of the place he just robbed.

I say these people giving testimony have watched too many shows.

Ha, so you do think it would damage the firearm?
