And let me tell you, there is a reason why our Special Forces not only don't do crap like this but why they laugh at organizations that do. Introducing real life danger to no training benefit doesn't make you any more hard core, it just makes something stupid. Trust me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There is a huge difference between that type of training and the nonsense I just watched. There are safeties involved and it is a much more canned environment. Not to mention there is actual training value to risk assessment matrix there that makes sense. The risk/training value in some of those nonsensical drills I just watched is something I would expect a bunch of cavemen in Somalia to come up with, not a professional organization I should take seriously. People are a cheap commodity in Russia. Gives you a different look at how other places around the globe view life and why wars will be bloody.

Weren't there times - in the first World War, for example - when Russians only issued a firearm to every second soldier?  Supposedly, they issued ammo to all of them but maybe didn't have enough guns to go around so the idea was that every second man would go into battle unarmed.   When one of the guys with the guns got shot down then one of the guys with just ammo was expected to pick up his gun and keep fighting.  At least, that is the story I have read in more than one place.

Like LAV said, it's a Russia only drill. So Только в родном России, вы будете тренироваться, как это.

Plus that guy is a FSB Alpha Group member, not some joe blow off the street.

FPS Russia is not from Russia. He is actually Kyle Myers from Georgia, the US state and not the Russia one. I would be willing to be the has never been to Russia. Edited by Dolomite_supafly
