That sounds like an offer I just can't refuse, pm on the way. Thanks for the warm welcome! I never knew this forum existed until I started looking up stuff for reloading recently and stumbled upon it. Looks like there's a ton of good info here especially for people around the area.

LWRC when I was researching for an ar to buy they kept popping up. The guy at the lgs said that I went straight to the top of the foodchain by purchasing this rifle. Which I'm sure is arguable, and since I've never handled any other ars besides the good ole colt m4 I was issued in Iraq I can't really say if there's better out there. I do like it a lot better than the colt, however.

Still don't get it.  I-dub is a nickname for LWRC? Is that a capital "i" or a small "l"? Just never seen it used before.

So I guess I have to figure this out myself. L-DUB = LWRC ?

 

Like L + Double-u = LW,  a 5 character "abbreviation" for two letters?

Got it. That's all I was really asking.

 

Seems rather dumb to me, whoever made that up, using 5 characters a short for 2. Like "abbreviating" Alex by using Alexander!
