I created a post a few months ago about explaining your username and had some good stories but me just being curious, what is/what does your picture mean? Why did you choose that pic? Some of them are obvious and weren't much thought I assume like mine. Just a pic of me piggin' out at a family get together. Edited by glowdotGlock

I am a student machinist - perhaps the symbol of a machinist is a micrometer, our staple instrument of measurement. Hence, a nice piece of artwork of someone using a micrometer.

My daughter was born October 3rd 2012.  My Avatar pic is the pumpkin that i carved for her first Halloween.  I wen't kind of nuts with the monkey stuff when we were registering for the baby shower and it kind of stuck.

Mine is the veterinarian version of the rod of Aesculapius.  It is traditional pictured as a snake, but some scholars think it represents the Guinea worm, which forms a sore in the skin.  The treatment was to pull part of it out and slowly wind it around a stick.  You could wind a small amount (like half an inch) at a time for fear of breaking it.  If the body broke, it caused an intense inflammatory reaction.  There are other theories, but the veterinarians like the one focused on the parasite.

Because I am the one who knock-diddly-ocks.

I'm a huge Simpsons/Futurama freak and loved Breaking Bad. This just kind of fits.

Armor Branch Insignia and the word ARMOR which is not on or in the Armor Branch Insignia. However the Branch Plaque does have Armor across the top and United States Army across the bottom, The insignia is an M26 Pershing Tank embedded over crossed sabers, Crossed sabers because the Armor Branch traces it's lineage to Continental "Cavalry": the first Continental Mounted Cavalry. The First Regiment of Dragoons (Post Revolutionary Cavalry) was formed in 1833. (I had to correct that since I served in the First regiment of Dragoons I reread it and though hmmm..need to fix) So the Armor branch was organized in March 1918, but our Birthday is December 1775 and the insignia was approved in 1950.

Im a retired Tanker, its the Armor Branch Insignia.
