TGO's Benefactor Membership is a Deal...

Especially when you compare it to a membership over at Blade Forums.

 

I thought about listing my Woodard Combat Auto on forums where the focus is on knives, so I checkout out BladeForums.com.

 

Now, I've been happily purchasing a Benefactor Membership on TGO for years, until recently going with the Lifetime membership. I don't have an issue with supporting a site that offers a service that I need, but $60 per year?  :stunned:  If I was going to be selling several high-end knives, it would possibly be worth it, but that's not the case right now.

 

While not nearly as active, I listed it on KnifeForums.com. They charge $1 per sale or trade, and it's on the honor system. I thought that was a neat idea, assuming the members are honorable. If it sells on KF, I'll gladly donate $10-$20 for their services that I'll likely use only one time, but I can't swallow $60.

I agree, David treats us right and provides a nice place to hang out and if we decide to sell something most of the time it's someone you can trust. I've not had a bad deal on here.

So true, never met or dealt with a benefactor from the site that I thought wasn't trust worthy.
