So you had a restraining order, that is just a piece of paper...

The only entities that can violate the law with impunity are the operatives of the gubmt that are sworn and tasked with enforcing such laws... The fact is that the gubmt is above the law because it enforces the law; and to think otherwise is foolish... Nowadays there is no place that is safe from this scourge... Look at the CIA hacking of the Senate... The only fix is to clean out the whole bunch; bureaucrats, apparatchiks, and elected ones "en masse"; which most likely aint gonna happen...

Won't happen because over 50% of the population will vote for whomever gives them stuff.

If we get out and educate them, show them that it is wrong, it will change.

Not this week or next month, it will take a long time.

It's the George Orwell "Animal Farm" thing.... ...." All animals are equal; just some animals are more equal than others..."

..."The Department of Love really becomes the Department of Hate..."....

Maybe they should have gone higher up the ladder and got and Order of Protection rather than just a restraining order. Not that it would have made much difference to an agency that thinks they are above the law to begin with but it does carry a harder sentence and penalty if in fact the company can file charges for violation of the court order which probably won't happen..........................jmho

An "order of protection" is only granted in domestic situations. Boyfriend, ex-wife, someone related by blood or marriage. Not applicable here - used in cases of battery or threatening situations.

A "restraining order" is a type of injunctive relief that orders a party to do or not do a particular act. This was proper here; it just appears that it didn't work.

The Feds got the restraining order modified before the raid, at least enough to justify their tactics in their own view, but still very doubtful they didn't completely overstep.

Will be interesting to see how this one plays out over time.

Gov will most likely lose in court but it will be years down the road and you'll never hear about it in the fashion of the RAID!!!!!
