Gonna have a new addition to the family

Recommended Posts

I'm orginally a WV boy. My sister found this pup abandoned on top of a mountain back in WV. (I would love to find out who did this to him) He was in rough shape- broken leg, head injury, skin infections, malnourished of course, ect. Decided to take him to the vet and have them take care of what ever the little boy needed. After a few days at the vet he was in much better shape and my sister took him home to recoup. Had every intention of finding him a good home with someone who'd take care of him. My sister sent me a pic of him tonight and I don't think I can let him go to another home because I know I can give him one he deserves. A big thanks to my sister for what she's done for him.

Say hi to my soon to be kinda furry pal Deuce. I think he'll like Tennessee.

I don't know how anyone could look into that face and not become attached to him right off. You can see the joy in his face and I know he will make you a good friend. Thanks to you and your sister for being caring people..................

Looks like the puppy will be nursed back to full health in no time.

A quick update. It's been one month since Roscoe (his name is Roscoe now) was found and taken in. Hard to believe just how far he has come. He's still in WV with my sister due to having to go to the vet weekly for the leg break. The vet there has been great. I'm going up in a couple days to hopefully finally bring him to TN.....if my sister lets me.

In that first set of pics, even after coming home from the vet, you can see from the look in his eyes that the little fellah' was still in some physical pain and scared as well as wondering, "What did I do to make that person/those people do this to me?"  In the last set of pics, however, the eyes set above that wide open mouth look to be free of pain and confident that the worst is past and good days lie ahead.  Your sister has done a good job.

THAT IS NOT THE SAME DOG!!! (JK)

We had a dog get dumped at our drive years ago, took her in, vet helped us clean her up.

Looked a lot like yours in the first pic.

She has been with us for 10 years now and is a great dog.

Congrats.
