At the National Guard Armory. I didn't end up going. A friend of mine said prices where out of this world. So I just didn't waste my money.

I went and they had ANderson Precision upper and lower receivers. Lowers complete around $250,stripped lower $90 or 2 for $140. Had some ff handguards, too. Not much else there. I wasted my $7.

Good to hear these comments, as I was considering going this morning; but my boss(wife) had an old friend call up so we spent the day with her.

I really didn't want to go on a Sunday...so now I can go to Opry Mills with them.  OH JOY!   :stunned:

At least you've got Bass Pro to keep you occupied.

I went yesterday. Got some good decent deals on some parts for an AR upper I am building. Same vendor Ishel mentioned. I also picked up some CCI small rifle primers and Hornady .22 bullets pretty cheap. Every gun there was over priced. Ammo prices are just plain stupid anymore. But I took my son in law to his first gun show. He was worse than a kid in a candy store. My first time going to the new armory. Nice place.

Every gun at a gun show is going to be overpriced. The vendors have to make up for their costs and time to attend somehow. Even the rare case when you find something cheap there, that same item would likely have sold for even a little bit less if the seller didn't have to pay the overhead of the gun show. But I don't go to gun shows to save money on guns. I go to browse a large selection of things, handle new things in person, talk with pro gun folks, take some friends, support the industry, and buy a few accessories if I see reasonable prices for things on my list. If I come home with a gun you can bet it was a crazy good deal, a very unique/rare item, or something I really wanted bad. Still, I decided to skip Tullahoma because I prefer larger shows, wouldn't be worth my time and gas to drive down there if it is a small show. Murfreesboro was the best show in middle TN I have seen in the last few years.
