Aluminum frame with a 1911 grip angle. Turns a G17 into a whole new animal. Used all factory parts aside from pins, slide lock spring, and locking block. The gun has a much better trigger as well. u7y8u7yh.jpg

I'm fighting this urge to call you a heretic because this is pretty dang cool.

Nonetheless, I'd get your junk in order in case they decide to burn you at the stake!

I'm no Glock guy, but this is very interesting. Grip angle has always been my complaint with Glock with the trigger being a close second.

Is the frame polymer or aluminum? There were a few companies making frame for Glocks. They had them in polymer, aluminum and I think there was even one in steel if I remember correctly.

I carried a Glock, both at work and at home, and could never really shoot well with them. I tried but no matter how hard I sucked with a Glock and I suspect it was the grip angle because I am a 1911 guy.

I think the next pistol I buy will be a double stack 1911 in 9mm or 38 Super. Then I will do a 7.62x25 conversion on it. Problem is they are too expensive for me to buy it for a project when new. I would love to find one that is junk, that I could rebuild, for a reasonable amount of money.

I'm with you Dolo , I've got 5 Glocks and can hardly hit the ground with'em ; my 1911's are spot on point.

I never really understood the Glock grip angle vs. 1911 grip angle.

Can't you guys put sights on target?

Your predilection for point shooting is where that grip angle diff really shows up.

Even I can hit something with them using the sights, but point and shoot they're always significantly high compared to any other handgun I've ever used for that, semi or revo.
