Mechanic builds silencers for Navy Seals

Anyone heard about this story? I was talking to a guy tonight who mentioned it. He said some mechanic in California was contracted to make 300 hundred of them for like a million and a half dollars. Now the government is prosecuting him for making them cuz they didn't have serial numbers or because one hand didn't know what the other was doing.

Thanks for the link. Sounds like someone was outside the loop of special favors. It's ok for some relatives of senators to get lucrative government contracts but you must have to be part of a special club. Can't blame a guy for trying to helping his brother out.
