The picture looks suspicious.  I'd be more likely to believe the size if the guy had his hand on the pig or if he had rested the rifle against the pig.  From the perspective we have, the guy could be 6' behind the pig making him appear smaller.  I did camera tricks like that when I was 10 years old.  No Photoshop required.  I'm not saying it's faked.  It just doesn't provide proof.  The other photo shown in the video was the same way.  I do think it's a big pig, just maybe embellished.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Yes, he's a few feet behind it to make it look bigger, but look at the size of the head relative to the leaves on the ground near it.  That's a big pig.  I do wonder what's holding it's head up like that though...

A lot of people put a stick under it to hold the head up to make the picture look cooler, but I can't tell exactly what is holding it up. I don't have any trouble believing that there was a 500 pound hog running around NC. There's some pretty big ones here as well.

That's a biggin!

Hmm, now I'm wondering if that was a bear or a freakin huge hog I saw on our drive a coupla months back.  All I caught was the ass end heading into the woods, but the hair just didn't look right for a bear...
