My Jump Into .300 BLK

Finally picked this up today.  .300 BLK Remington 700, 16.5" threaded barrel, Hogue stock.  Just need optics and a rail to stick it on.  Oh and ammo.  Maybe a couple more things too.

Nope, no glass.  I have a couple things I'm considering though for it.

Redfield Battlezone's are pretty awesome tactical scopes for a very reasonable cost. If money isn't an issue go for a Leupold or a Nightforce.

Don't think I would put Nightforce money in this rifle.  I don't feel that shooting at closer in targets is worth a $2,000 scope lol.

I have that rifle as well. It is a fun one to shoot. Mine is wearing the ar 223 nikon scope. Shooting 110gr barnes tac-tx will swing the tennins ball i have hanging at 100yds. with no trouble. Sent from another clumsy piece of tech. using Tapatalk

I've been looking at those for an ar in 5.56, how do you like it?

I was going to recommend looking into one as they seem like a pretty cool scope at a good price, plus I think they make one with 300 BDC now as well. But keep in mind I don't own one, just been doing a bit of scope shopping lately as well.

Get a Vortex scope, I love the couple I have. Lifetime warranty, super bright clear glass. Less expensive and every bit as good as my Nikons.

The nikon ar is nice. I have the 3x12 m223. It rode on top of my ar for awhile. I never used the bdc, i alway adjusted by the turret's. Sent from another clumsy piece of tech. using Tapatalk
