2 new 300AAC Savage Axis builds

Built these with assistance from..... you guessed it..... Dolomite_supafly.  His willingness to talk and postings here and on SS have assisted me greatly with these builds.  Thanks as always to him.

 

Savage Axis .223 donor with McGowen Precision 16.5" threaded varmint contour 1:8 twist barrel on epoxy/rod modified Savage stock.  Mueller APV 4.5x14x40 scope.

Savage Axis .223 stainless donor with McGowen Precision 16.5" threaded stainless sporter contour 1:7 twist barrel on Boyd's Thumbhole stock.  BSA 3-9x50 scope. (picture of both together)

 Very nice! I wouldn't mind having a bolt gun to go with my 300aac AR. Have you got a suppressor or plan to get one for them?

Built these almost exclusively to shoot suppressed.  I purchased (and of course waited on) a Liberty Mystic at the beginning of last year.  Received it late last year and tested it on one of my 300 BO ARs and it did a good jub, just waiting to get out and see what it can do on a bolt gun.

 

Overall the Mystic is a great multi caliber suppressor in my opinion.  Have also shot many a 22 through the Mystic and it handles those very well as well.  Liked it so much have another in the pipeline right now.
