357 magnum brass.....the new 22 long rifle

Recommended Posts

That sounds fair. Thanks. Have you ever bought from them?

Yep, I got some 9mm and 38 spl brass last spring, nothing special, essentially range pickups that have been sorted, but but they shipped it in good time and was not overpriced when the 38 spl was hard to find elsewhere.

44 is not left on the ground much either.      The big magnum guys either keep them and reload or they do not shoot too many when they let them lie on the ground.   Makes it hard for ranges etc that sell their brass to have many of the "revolver" rounds, so once-fired is harder to get all around.

Right, but a fellow should be able to locate new brass for such a common caliber.

I think Starline asks your age and calculates your remaining lifespan before they'll even let you backorder. :squint:

I'm with you Greg, it's like who in the heck still shoots a .357? Then I remembered ... COWBOYS!  :pleased:  lol

I imagine the SASS shooters order .357 brass by the bucket loads, just like the IDPA guys buy 9mm.

I shoot it, need to shoot it more now that I got the sights zeroed in. In my avatar over there <-
Next time I go through some Greg, I'll PM you for an address.

Thanks, but I placed an order at thebrassexchange.com, and should be all set once they get here.

You better get some reloading equipment!

With a 3 month old and one 4 years, my range time has gone caput. The 200 rounds of mag should last a year or two. Booo.

All the more reason for a reloading bench. My youngest wasn't much older than 4 the first time he shot a 44 magnum. Mind you, this wasn't full powered stuff, but powderpuff wadcutters I'd loaded. Rather than the pain and fear a full power 44 mag round would produce to a youngster, this load left a smile from ear to ear, as well as the question "Can I shoot it again daddy?" :)
