Yes , it's a scandium but the Performance Center guns have lightened slides and are a few hundred more.

When I shoot left handed I get hit in the forehead now and again with brass. Seems like smith ejects up more than out.

I have the same S&W and LOVE it!!!!! I've had a couple of head knockers as well but over all a very nice shooting gun. Nice set of toys :up:
