Unfortunately, all of this info is irrelevant to most folks because apples and bananas do not come in a microwavable package.

 Maybe monkeys have been doing it wrong for a million years and it took us humans to do it right. :)

 

Bananas, as we know them, have only been around for a few thousand years.    :)

 

I thought real men use their pocket knife? Cut the stem off the banana and slice the apple in half.

I have witnessed this great feat one time. I have tried myself many times, but never succeeded.
