Gravity going to win a lot of awards tonight?

Ok, that's a leading question. I just watched the movie. The following is my own opinion....

This movie stunk! Lousy Sound quality. Either so low you have to raise your set volume to unbearable levels, or so high you get deafened when the soundtrack goes up.  And I may get flamed on this, but didn't think too much of the storyline either.

Yes, there are some nice cinematic effects. Bright, colorful, and sharp images. Real nice.

But that doesn't make up for the time I wasted watching this movie. Should've watched Thor instead.

At least it had some comic entertainment value.

Yeah, great cinematography, but terrible story.  Sandra Bullock was ok, but I wasn't that impressed with any of it to be honest.  I am rooting for the cast of American Hustle.  I think the acting was much better in that.  Haven't seen all of them, but I really enjoyed American Hustle.

Agree Hozzie, that stuff would've been cool all summed up in one scene of a star wars movie... Not for 90 minutes as a technological 'castaway' redux.

saw it too, volume was low, it did drag ass, it sucked having to wonder what piece of space crap would do them in.I was surprised it did as good as it did. By comparison blazing saddles and kentucky fried movie should be given best picture retroactively.....

Just finished watching this on DVD and I want the 91 minutes back that I wasted watching this pile of crap.

I'm just glad that I didn't see this in the theater.

I felt like I watched the whole movie after seeing the preview. Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.

Sandra Bullock would look good at a dog fight.

Meh.  Maybe once upon a time. She is kinda cute, but really doesn't do a lot for me.

But....I will admit that the scene in Armed and Dangerous was fantastic. That dress must have been sprayed on.

It won because of George Clooney!

I too was rooting for American Hustle. From everything I saw and read Matthew did a really good job in Dallas Buyers Club.

Well, the Academy certainly agreed on that.

Gravity sucked.

American Hustle was strange but decent. I'm madly in love with jennifer lawrence.

Carry on.

I saw Gravity in 3D at the "IMAX" theater and it was a fun experience .... I don't think I would've liked it near as much otherwise
