While everybody was at Krogers getting bread and milk I got a case of beer and a pizza I'm set.[/quote] I did the same thing at Walmart. No ice here yet. 20 minutes south of Jackson. Lots and lots of rain. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

Yep, it's a good picture of Clarksville. Nice and quiet on Madison Street, for a change. Dogs enjoyed their first

frolic in the snow tonight. They didn't want to come back in.

Not to far from JT, just a little NE of him and yeah still just rain right now. maybe thats all we will get but if it gets down in the teens as predicted it will be a mess in the morn. If so I'll just be at home and no work tomorrow.

So many crashes from the rain last night and even more from the ice this morning. I must say, tennessee is filled with some of the worse drivers I can think of.

Took the dogs out last night to do their business. This morning they forgot the business and just played. Wife tried to

go to work and didn't get past Hilldale. She told me she ran a couple lights while the cops just watched. They were probably

laughing at her. No tickets, though. :D

Nashville is the epicenter for people who don't know how to drive. You find out when it snows. Very few people

from Nashville any more, and it shows.

I drove in from Springfield to Nashville, and it was a disaster. The temperature dropped extremely fast and turned much of the area into a solid sheet of ice. Cars wrecked everywhere. Edited by TripleDigitRide

1/8 to 1/4 inch of solid ice here this morning. Wife and I decided to take a day off I did not want to go out in the demolition derby out there

About 4 inches of white stuff (mostly sleet, some snow) in northwest Tn. this morning.  I'm thinking that all these damn yankees that are moving in are bringing their weather with them too ...

The drive from Mt Juliet was a bit scary, but did make it into Nashville.

Looks like the roads are starting to melt a bit.

I am going to head to work in about an hour. Maybe it won't be too bad. The roads look clear out front but you never can tell as you head north. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

The roads in gibson county are all iced with a little bit of snow on top. Us 45 is a mess with cars and trucks stuck all over. Sent from another clumsy piece of tech. using Tapatalk

Made it into work, but took 2 hours with a chainsaw and tow strap to do it. Freezing rain had brought down lots of trees around us and there were many neighborhoods without power that I passed through.

I went out for a cruise. Funny seeing cars stuck on level road. I finally got to try out the DTC(dynamic traction control) on my

car. Works like a charm. We had a lot more ice than I realized.

Of course, I had to take the dogs out again. Man, I miss this stuff. We don't get enough of it!

Out feeding hay this morning, about 4 in. of ice with about a 1/2 in snow on top. Cows had  10-12 in. icicles hanging off of them.No power loss here. Making my wood pile disappear really fast. Had to lock rear differental on tractor to get good traction to get up hills. Nasty stuff.
