Hi guys! Sorry me and Loki missed out on the Sept. shoot but we're anxious to get out and hook up with everyone in October. Are there any plans for a shoot?

The situation with Marswolf has totally derailed my ability to plan anything the past few days. I'm wondering about doing this on a SUNDAY in October so that people who don't normally attend might have the chance to.

What do you all think about that?

I am good with a Sunday as long as we start around 11:00.

The range opens at 9am on weekends so we could conceivably start as early as that. Although on a Sunday I would think more people would want to be able to attend church (if applicable) and then join us. So maybe straddling the noon-time hour would be best. Say 11am - 2pm or something.

Sunday is very cool with me. An 11-2 timeframe would work great too.

I think Sunday ,the weekend of the 18th sounds good. Danno, I'm calling you out. LOL! :rolleyes: You said in the store last weekend "You guys don't shoot on Sunday. Some of us have to work on Saturdays." Hope to see you there Buddy. As for everyone else, I hope to see you then. Take care. Shima

I'm in for this end of town. Maybe we could have two groups. Meet at basically the same time on Sunday. Eat up the road from Stones River at Providence.

The last time I shot at Hobson Pike, the atmosphere simply was not conducive to the sort of gatherings that we normally enjoy at OHGC.

Come on. You can easily get to 840 and be in Spring Hill in no time. It's worth a little drive.

Well for some of us it is a 10 min to Stones River vs a 1 1/2 hours to OHGC. If some want to meet this side of town on the same day I'm in. I have always been treated

well there.

its 45 50 mins for me to oh and im in franklin lol. about the same or more to hobson pike and like david said we kinda just mingle around bsing while we arent firing and they have completely different ranges for rifles and pistols. Id drive out if you guys just wont come to oh if even for the sake of getting you all to come to one out here sometime.

No, would love to came to Owl Hollow sometime. I have little one's at my age and wife works night's at the hospital. It's just a lot more convenient due to time for Stones River than going to Owl Hollow.

Who am I kidding. I can't get a long YARD PASS!!! Much less a Garage Pass.

Anybody got the local number to the Men's Shelter?

RR, maybe one evening or weekend a few of us can head down to On Target in the boro and do a little shooting and socializing there as well.

When the date and time are set for Oct., and if I can make it, there's a box of approx. 400 .22lr Winchester hollow points someone can just have. The Rem. 597 won't feed them.

I'll take that winchester ammo. Clarky and I recently learned the magazine for the 597 won't hold the winchester ammo - about a hair to long - My 10/22 will eat it all day though.

My mag will hold it fine, but the feeding is an issue. Haven't done any work to the mag (or trigger and hammer) yet, but that day will come too. ... BTW, pulled one round out of the box with a giant dent in the side, that got a couple of head shakes/"hmmph"s.
