Probably my favorite comedian, if that's how you would categorize him, of the last 25 years.  My personal favorite was "The First Baptist Bar and Grill", although "Beer Belly Blues" might be more fitting for me ...

I sure hated to hear it. He was funny as anyone, but what impressed me about him was his depth of knowledge in the areas of American history, world history, and music history.

 

Can you imagine what a hoot he would have been as a history professor?

Tim will be missed. Truly a nice guy. We saw him a few weeks ago. We talked and laughed for a while between shows.
