Panoramic Sight: Is something wrong with my eyes?

Here's my problem:

I bought a Sightmark Panoramic Reflex Sight to play around with on my AR-15. It seems built solidly enough and everything

BUT

I can only see a complete blur where the reticle should be, no matter what.

My wife sees all 4 reticles perfectly, no problem, I just see a blurry mess. She has to wear contacts, and admitedly doesn't have the greatest of eye-sight, I, however see 20/20 no problem, but I can't see this right at all.

Anyone else have problems with sights like this?

Try turning the brightness down and see if that helps. Also, try looking past where the reticle should be and see if it helps your focus any.

Not sure when you had your eyes checked last, but most frequently it is people with nearsightedness that have a problem with sights like yours and the Eotech.

There's every chance that my eye-sight has degraded over the years, but I don't have any problem seeing near or far as far as I can tell. Also, I've used a friend's Eotech and had no problem with that. i'll try to turn the brightness down and see if that cures it at all, otherwise who knows?

Have you tried physically moving the sight itself to a different rail slot to see if it's just your eyes require a different amount of relief than your wife does?
