New guns are great but S&W just don't build 'em like this anymore.

Snagged a very clean 5906 tonight.  Can't wait to get it to the range.

I've had 2 of them. They are really good guns. The 2nd and 3rd gen Smiths are some of the best produced. Outside of their revolvers.

All I have left is my first gen. I would like to get another 3rd gen one day.

If I hadn't already sold the second one, I could help you out with that.

Anybody know how long Sports Unlimited has been outta business?  It has a sticker on the box with their logo.  I remember them YEARS ago but haven't heard that name in a while.

Nice pistol. Sports Unlimited - I'm going to say since about 1998/1999. I remember shopping there in 96/97 for sure. Too bad, I always liked that place.

I still go there, but it's a gym now. :)
