I can see trouble coming

My business Partner just got his first AR today. It is a Busmaster chamberd in 5.56/223 and I'll let the picture tell the rest. Anyway, after messing around with it, I can see trouble coming as now I WANT ONE TOO. We are planning to hit the range Friday so I'm sure that will put me over the edge. Many thanks to Phillip at Goodlettsville Gun shop for the excellent deal and great advice and service!

Yeah, I'm kind of leaning towards a build right now myself. I followed yours and some others pretty closely and I think it would be better for me since I could spread the cost out over a couple of months or so. Plus, the shear fun of it is awful tempting!

If it were me, I'd build one rather than buying one complete. That's unless you happen to find one that you really like.

I decided to build mine because I didn't wanted to have something that wasn't just like everyone elses. Not only that, but knowing me like I do, I would have spent all that money on a stock AR, only to turn around and spend a whole lot more adding the parts i really wanted in the first place.

Sounds like we are somewhat alike :screwy: although this Bushmaster pretty much fits the bill as to what I'd want to start out with in an AR, but then again I know very little about them right now.

If you get one, let me know..I have about 85 rounds of .223 sitting here and 10 of them are tracer rounds. I don't own a .223 anymore....sooooooo

Cool, I'll keep that in mind. Phillip sold him 860 rounds of Winchester White Box today for $200 OTD which seamed like one hell of a deal to me but Jim did mentioned he wanted to get some tracers.

hahahahah!

if you have time tomorrow, give me a call and make sure I'm here at the hotel, and you can come by and pick them up. :-)

I have 100 bucks that I need to put towards some .45 ammo (I use the money we get from scrapping the copper off of the towers we work on for ammo) so my wife won't be so mad at me for shooting up her .45 ammo...so I think I'm gonna do that and put in a little range time..so if I'm not here, invite me to a range or something and I'll bring them with me :)
