And other states with arbitrary "may issue" are afraid that their laws will be struck a blow, too.

If it goes to SCOTUS and they incorporate it to the states, they will be struck down period.  And seems they couldn't cease issuing permits at all either, what with the IL decision not long ago.

Agreed.

The Brady's have been dealt some losses. I hope the trend continues. Seems there's some clearity coming to the issue. There's still a few pockets of resistance.

It's anti-firearm (...and freedom...) jihad.... They wont quit until none of them are left... Its the overbearing, narcissistic notion that they are, in fact, the smartest people in the room; and that us serfs should just recognize it and bow down... They cant afford to abandon the narrative... Their self-worth will be destroyed... The good news is that they are takin a pretty good whoopin now...

They never get tired, they retrench, get more money and come roaring back.  Only those in favor of expanding opportunities to keep and bear arms sit on their hands.

Serfs - an excellent choice of word.  Democrat worldview is in fact proto-feudal.  There are the rich and connected, and the peasantry.

Some may not agree with me on this but, I have rights regardless of what another man says. Regarding the HCP, I pay the state so they wont hassle me on a regular basis on the street. Same with drivers license, etc.

And whether or not I pay them or not doesnt affect whether or not I carry or not. Im not old enough to have been around prior to the HCP system, but had I been, I wouldnt have been walking around unarmed, just would have placed a higher emphasis on concealment. Edited by nightrunner

Yep, I've toted some back in the day, and almost always had one in the car. Got popped for the car carry once too, dropped charges but lost the gun, a nice Ruger Redhawk in .357. They probably wouldn't have dropped them if I had had it on me, or maybe they would, I had a pretty influential mouthpiece.
