Let alone him destroying evidence, pot was found in his home and his Daughter arrested.

I don't know what to say really. Sounds like he's got into some TROUBLE. I wish him and his family the best.

Saw that on Facebook this morning.  I've never heard of the guy.  I don't watch hunting shows because I have no interest in shows about only shooting trophy animals, I think it's a poor example of proper management.  I generally take a dim view of those that make these shows.  That aside everything I've heard about this guy indicates he is nothing but a thug that has no regard for game regulations.  Am I missing something here?  He certainly is not the first "hunting celebrity" to find himself in hot water for violating game laws.

 

As far as his daughter goes, I'm not sure how old she is but I would venture to bet that more of us had a baggy in our sock drawer that our parents didn't know about growing up than did not.

I know of the guy, but I don't watch hunting shows either. Most hunting show host have a pretty bad attitude in my opinion!

Yes, they are made out to be the heroes of the hunting world.  I wonder how many hunters would be obsessed with antler size if it were not for these shows?  The real heroes of the hunting world, if there are any actual heroes in the hunting world, are those that take kids hunting and teach them to be good stewards of the land and to be ethical hunters, and those that spend their time conserving the land and making it a better place for all of the people and animals.

I know Spook and he is a good guy.  If what they say is true, that he was deleting hunting pics that showed he violated his probation, then i really do not have any sympathy for him.  I guess we will have to wait and see what they can prove in court.

Apologies thread drift. Dunno hunting, but if hunters go for the biggest antlers, maybe over time there would be natural selection for small antler critters, because the fellas with small antlers have greater liklihood of living longer and mating more often?
