Anyone else watching this show?? It has been awhile since I've watched a show that I can't wait to watch the next week...has a fresh story to it, kinda an occult/drug thing...and I am actually glad that the current actors will not be in the next season, I feel it would ruin this season... Anyhoo....

Haven't gotten to it yet, but have seen a couple of ads that make it look interesting. Plus, I seem to be becoming a Woody Harrelson fan of late.

So, after the wife goes back to work and I can get away from Lifetime, I'll give it a try.

Yep..only 8 eps total in the season...ep6 is tomorrow night...better get to watchin' on demand...would be a great Saturday "movie night"...

Tonight's episode was pretty good...The last couple have been a little slow but it seems the story is getting a head of steam for the last couple episodes before the season ends...

Waiting for it to complete then I will binge watch it. I have a hard time keeping up with TV shows. The advent of the streaming and the ability to binge watch an entire season over the course of a week has been a godsend for me.

Haha I understand...is also nice to watch it in one long run instead of waiting a week for each new episode like us poor saps...

I'd wait and binge it but I don't have the self control not to watch at 9 on Sunday night.

I really like that each season will have a new cast.   And the 8 episode format is good for me, 12 or 13 gets long.

I am not sure how any episode could leave you feeling it was a little slow.  The last two ought to be out of control.

Not so much slow, I understand them taking the story into trying to locate the meth lab, etc...I just like the eerie theme that the show set off in the first episode with the nature of the killing...I too am looking forward to the last 2 eps, I think they will be awesome...

I like this show a lot. But I think most of the actors will die of lung cancer shortly. Never seen so much smoking on a TV Show.

I noticed that as well. And did you notice that Matthew's character draws on it like he's holding a joint? Or is that just me?

Anyway, yeah... this is one of the best things I've seen in quite a while.

With thanks, to OhShoot for getting me links to info on it. Now I gotta wonder who will be in season 2, and what the storyline might be like.

I don't think that is Matthew's character, I think that is just Matthew. :tough:

That's good. I didn't think of it like that.

they can't let him go and can't put him in jail.   No idea how a prosection would play out with what Rust did with Ginger.  It is a hole I hope they close.

Absolutely loved Maggie going to Rusts apartment and him throwing her out afterwards.

what else I don't get is the beer during the interview.   Certainly if Rust had incriminated himself it would be useless information. And how does a guy drink a six pack of tallboys, a flask of liquor and not be hammered.   I can see the hard chainsmoking while he was drinking.

As far as the drinking part goes I can show you how to do that...lol..his character is coming off of being a hard drug addict so I am sure beer probably doesn't do much for him...

They have done a pretty good job of making the story deep despite only being an hour long...I'll give them a break if they get a little slack here or there...

So what did Rust do with Ginger?[/quote]
Said he left him in a ditch.

I'm going to watch tonight's episode in a half hour or so. I can't wait but I don't have HBO. I'll miss the finale. I wont be able to get it until the end of March probably.

First episode he asks for the beer and they hesitate. He said something about "what? you want this to be admissible?"

The interview is supposed to see if he can shed light. It isn't until later that they let on that he is a person of interest. I'm sure he knew all along but w/e. Edited by Daniel

Good episode last night. My respect for Woody is growing quickly. He is really doing a fine job in this series. Not to slight Matthew either.

This has been one of the best things I've seen in years.

Can't wait to see the ending next week.

I totally missed the leaving of Ginger in a ditch.

Episode 7 seemed to totally set up for the finale.  Can't wait to see how the gun point interrogation with the sheriff plays out.  And the Spaghetti monster mowing the grass is going to play into it no doubt.

The video of the people wearing animal heads and girl was stomach turning,  glad they left some to the imagination.

Since he won Best Actor Oscar last night, doubt if he would mind much. :)

Yep. The lawnmower guy set off my spidey sense the first time we saw him. So I was very interested to see him re-appear.

Yes, a little imagaination is a good thing...sometimes  Here, not so much. I find myself thinking in terms of ritual sacrifice, snuff films, and just plain old child porn.

But the first 2 are probably more likely for this last episode, I think.
