What's wrong with me?

I know that's a loaded question. But I was going through the safe the other day and realized I have all the guns I want (or am willing to pay for anyway). Sure, there's the dream of being the first kid on my block with a Browning Ma Deuce. But in All honesty, and within a budget that'll keep momma happy, there's not a single pistol or rifle I've just gotta have. Seriously, what's wrong with me?

Even if i hit the lottery,i am not sure if i would go wild with guns. My mentality is already to concentrate on acquiring only like firearms and common rounds. I am only interested in 12. .22, .223, .308, and .40. At the moment. All pretty available and allows me to load up on minimal types of ammo. I dont have the budget to buy every toy i see so i rather have several similar firearms for simplicity. Edited by 1pointofview

Not a thing wrong with you. I am the same way - got everything I want. Haven't bought a gun in three years and haven't seen anything I gotta have.

It's called being content.

Yep, I am the same way as I have everything I want and am content. I have plenty of ammo for each gun I own and can even go to the range and pop a few caps and not worry to stay in touch with the art of shooting and hitting the target. Some people never reached that point and have a different approach of what they want and goals they may never reach.............jmho

We're talking within reason so yes you are okay BUT if I hit the lottery I would have a added on room at my house specifically for firearms. There's always another gun out there I want, lol.

I was the same way a few months back.

Then a Ruger Black Hawk fell into my lap.

Now I want a 500 revolver, BAD!

Still dreaming about a Barrett 50.

Don't worry, it's only temporary.  A few trips to the gun stores and you'll find another gun you 'need'.

I will keep my monotonous (oops) monogamous relationship with my wife.  As for my infidelity impulses, I will use my gun hobby with full throttle.  I too want to keep my guns to the common rounds, but its hard when I have common rounds like this:  9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP, 357Sig, 22LR, 38SPL, 357Mag, 5.56mm, 270, 30-30, 12ga, 20ga, & 410.  That reminds me, I want a 44mag, 30-06, 7.62x51.  Dang it!

Hi, my name is Runco, I not only have a gun problem, I have problems with ammo, reloading, holsters, gun cleaning supplies, slings, gun accessories, gun print media, gun message boards, and blah, blah, blah...... :screwy:

Hi Runco, welcome to group therapy here at tgo. We understand as everyone here is an addict, the hardest part is admitting you have a problem.

Other than a long gun and pistol or two I'm pretty content with my current firearms. Edited by Gotthegoods

As a member of the Gun of the Month Club, I would feel guilty if I didn't make an attempt to purchase a gun or shooting related items each month.

I hope you have the opportunity to edit this post from monotonous to monogamous before your wife reads it. Lol.

 a Big thank you.  I don't think she reads them, unless I am at work.

Pretty content with my arsenal these days too. Think I'll just concentrate on improving my ability with all that I have. :)
