  The US Olympic hockey team just beat the Russians.  T.J. Oshie was asked by the press how he felt about being an American Hero.  His response;  "The heroes are the ones in camo.  That's not me".

I REALLY like that answer! In my book, the people who risk their lives to serve their country or community are heroes, not those who play a game.

He also made sure to mention that there was another guy in the same uniform that made more saves then he did goals

Seems to be a classy dude.

I was pretty proud of that, when I heard that the US had beat the Russians. Then Obama came on and referred to "Miracles". This isnt that, not by a long shot. A bunch of American Amateurs beat the greatest Russian Pro team the Soviets ever fielded, during the Cold War, on Home turf.

Class act for sure. Glad the Americans won again but you can bet Putin ain't a happy camper over it............jmho the whole Russian team will probably be sent to Siberia to practice their hockey skills for the next Olympics............jmho
