I know PSA has some good deals, but they seem out of stock for everything. Who else do you guys recommend for uppers?

You have to check PSA daily and strike while the iron is hot.

I been. I just cant find 18" to 20" upper deals anywhere

If you can wait a few weeks it is likely that they'll have what you want on sale. Like Oh Shoot said though, jump on it once you see it in stock. I've had items sell out while sitting in my cart while I shopped around more to pad out the order for shipping.

Other than that if you want a rifle for cheap watch the classifieds here or build one.

I built the rifle on the left and have about $600 into the upper not including BCG, charging handle or optics. E9040995-E027-4BF6-866C-A29B81229AFE-354

You could build one cheaper, this one has pretty much exactly what I wanted on it and it turns out what I wanted wasn't cheap. Of course in the AR world it wasn't really expensive either.

If I buy an upper without the barrel, I can stick the longer barrel in it right? I picked up two more lowers and I am building a carbine, a rifle for myself and a buddy wants me to build him a carbine. I am really enjoying building rifles for some strange reason.

You know any of them will fire when the trigger is pulled, not just that Bad One you got rid of, right?  ;)

Yeah, its gone. My conscience is relieved. Hell, I even bought a safe to help deter an incident like the that happened from happening again.

Sure can. That's what I did. Spent about 100-200 a month until it was built.

Because it's fun. :)

I may just go that route. Take a little bit longer, but I will be able to finish all three rifles at once. Hell, I may even turn one into a 300

Two separate groups of people.

But no, a friend who is former army but broke his back at work. After the army he went to work security and between jobs got in an accident. And to the one who put a whole on the wall, maybe. Cant hold a grudge for ever.
