Hi everybody. I currently live in the Hickory/Lenoir area of NC and am thinking about relocating to the Northeast Tennessee area. I have been here all my life and need a change. I am considering somewhere around Johnson City/Greeneville/Kingsport. Can anyone make any recommendations as to some of the better places to live or work. I have a background in finance and a business degree. I am looking for good neighborhoods close to work and shopping with houses that can be bought for less than 100k. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

What do you plan to do for work?

Are you keeping your current job?

I know a company in the firearms industry (their name sounds like Giro Beer) that is thinking about hiring a CFO....

What was that about Memphis and Nashville?...:P

Don't know about Memphis but it really can vary by which side of town you go to in Nashville,

Hero: I will have to change jobs. I'm not sure if I would be qualified for a CFO but if you are interested I'm all ears. Thanks for the replies so far.

Well, when you get to TN. come by and see us.

We are starting our search for the next addition to the HG team, and I havent decided if we should hire an accountant/CFO or two outside sales guys.

My wife might be interested. She has been doing the books for an AC company for the past 7 years and spent a year as the controller for an Architectural/Engineering firm.

Plus, you could pay her in guns!
