How deep is the snow at your house?

Mom says they got around 6" off Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville. Pretty unheard of for the valley.

My step-dad drivers for UPS and got stranded in Roanoke VA yesterday.

I cleaned about a half-inch off the workbench early yesterday, and NOW we are at 8.75 inches or 222.25 millimetres... so with the little bit I dusted off, I have no doubt there's a good nine-plus inches out yonder.

Exactly 7 inches this morning. LOVE IT!!!.. dog just love it

A little over 7" in Morristown. The dog has had a blast in it this morning.

What is it about dogs and snow?  My dog loves it too.  She ran around like a lunatic while I shoveled the driveway.  Not that my tossing shovel-fulls of snow at her had anything to do with that...

It is melting FAST, went out to bring wife lunch and planned on doing a little shoveling while the kids played in the snow. We were gone for about 30 mins and when we got back there was no reason to shovel. My driveway and street are just wet at this point. Hopefully the sun can dry most of this up before tonight or it is going to be a mess in the morning.

I live on White Oak Mtn near Ooltewah, we have 8-10" here. Just finished shoveling my very long, very steep driveway so my wife can go to work later today. The hassle of snow long out last the fun of it.

Just don't tell the dogs that it's nothing more than frozen water... they will be absolutely crestfallen. Never saw a dog that didn't like playing in the snow.

Here in Murfreesboro, the BS coming from the Capitol building in Nashville is 10 times deeper than the snow... which we didn't get. Frankly, I'm a little tired of the local forecasters "crying wolf" so much this year. Our total snowfall in Murfreesboro has amounted to substantially less than 1/2" this season.

Here in the West it is a balmy 48 degrees with the sun shining nicely. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

Don't know that I've ever seen a significant accumulation in TN with such a short life span as this one.
