a set of hi viz sights showed up so of course i wasnt gonna wait to put em on. used a sig sight tool to push out the old ones, all good,pushed in the rear sight, all good. the front sight..... heh heh heh, had to file it down w a diamond dust flat file, got it started and it just fought the whole way, did everything youre supposed to do when installing sights, this one just fought. at one point i thought screw it ill buy another front if i trash it. well made it all the way through. urban legend says ya cant use a pusher on fiber sights.... proved em wrong but the pucker factor was seriously high... Next time put the sight in the freezer for a while and heat the slide up.  It'll probably slide right in.

I had a somewhat similar encounter with an ATI heatshield with ghost ring sights, but I wasn't smart enough to stop grinding and filing. I ruined the front sight trying to get it thin enough for the little scew they provided to reach the threads in the insert underneath the heatshield.

I have used fiber optic front sights on all my glocks and they just drop right in.

i just did a glock 35 w no issues, this one just had me cringing...although you know as well as i do by the end of the year it may look like a rental jackhammer from home depot after 3 gun gets rolling hahaha
