Oak Ridge Citizens got together to welcome home  U.S. Army Sgt. Neal Martin, who returned to Oak Ridge after serving for 10 months in Afghanistan.

People got words, got together and got this together today.  I wish I could have been there but that work thing.

The people of Oak Ridge should be very proud of themselves for doing the right thing and giving another hero a great welcome home ceremony. It needs to be done a lot more than it is. I have a video of another vet that came hope under much different circumstances and I think an entire town turned out for it. More people need to show their support like they did in Oak Ridge today for our troops...............jmho

I am waiting for the person that made the video to post a youtube link so I can share it here.

It was at 8 a.m. this morning half way between my home and work.

I had to be at work at 7:30 or I would have been there as well.  I thought a little about calling in late.
