.22 Rifle Update

You guys gave me a lot of good suggestions on what kind of .22 to get.  Well I could not make up my mind so I ended up with 3.

My uncle gave me a Browning 22 takedown.  It is really nice so I did not want to drag it through the woods.  I traded for a Remington Speedmaster.  It is in really good shape.  Been sitting in a safe for probably 25 years.  I also like the looks of bolt actions so I bought a CZ 455 American combo.  It has a 22 and 17hmr barrel.  I am going to put a scope on the CZ and shoot the other two with irons sights.  Now to find a decent rimfire scope.

 

I think I am set for 22s for a while.

The Browning take down if one of my favorite rim fire rifles,ever.  I guess because my big brother had one and I loved everything he had.

 

Now I have to figure out how to reload all the .22 brass I've been saving.  :rock:

I like that CZ.  I have a soft heart for nice 22s.  My favorite is my Remington 541S, unfired with the box.  Just a beautiful gun!  I also have another 541S, fired, and still in excellent shape.  I have probably dozen or so more.  Love bolt actions for sure!

The Browning is a great feeling rifle.  So light and nimble.

 

Good suggestion Jason.  A lever action .22 would would make a great addition to my family.

I just got a Marlin 795. It's simple and cheap. Plus it's more accurate than the "high and mighty" 10/22. I like it, it's worth a look on your part!

I'm kinda a fan of the Ruger MK III heavy barrel pistol

Yeah...I'm in that category as well. Have a few 22 rifles, but what gets me into trouble are the pistols...revolvers and semiautos. I love'em all.

They really look good congrats. Someday I would like to add a Browning takedown to the stable as well.
