Im gonna be picking up a Mission Venture here in a couple weeks! Im stoked about that. I am excited to go out and do some turkey hunting with it. I have not Turkey hunted with a bow before I hear it can be a challenge!  Any good Advice>?

Best advice? Don't lol!!! I hunted them with crossbow and it didn't take long to figure out I was nutsy!

 

Seriously, it's an awesome challenge!!

I had a friend in Texas that used to turkey hunt with a recurve. That or a crossbow would be my suggestion. Once you learn to shoot a recurve from different positions accurately, you will have a much better chance of getting a shot. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

I wanted to try to find guillotine broadheads for my crossbow, but as of now nobody makes them.  If I still had a compound bow, I'd use these things.

Ok, that didn't work. But long and short, Bass pro carry's at least two different brands.

You basically have to use a blind or be lucky. It's just not realistic to draw on a turkey at 20 yards without a blind. Study up on shot placement. There are tons of photos on google showing where to aim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
