I just broke my press!

Oops! I thought you had to have the sleeve on the die. I didn't think about leaving one in the press. If I did that, however, I wouldn't really have gained anything. Oh well. i'm accustomed to screwing dies in a press. It isn't a big deal. This one has an insert you can remove to use larger body dies, although I've never seen but one size die body.

 

I added up all the dies I have, and looked at the price for the quick lock sleeves, and decided not to go that route.

 

It will take a while to get my dies readjusted for the new press.

Yep. They can be a little spendy. The quick swap is a good feature, but not necessary.

I see. I've always liked the Lee rings because you didn't need tools to adjust them. If you install and remove the die by turning the ring, and not just the die, they stay in adjustment for me. I'll have to take a closer look at the Hornady rings.
