TV Western Theme Songs

I came across this video link on youtube with the theme songs of many of the Western TV Shows that were on TV during the 50's and 60's. This brought back a lot of memories of my childhood, glued to the set, watching my favorite cowboy heroes in that day. I thought maybe some of you would enjoy listening to them too.

Thanks. I'd forgotten a lot of these. And got led into watching a lot of Clint Walker clips. Made me remember Cheyenne and how much I always liked it. Now I have to find some Cheyenne DVDs for my father-in-law.

Thanks for the memories as I had forgotten some of these! The "Rifleman" clip must have been made back when rifle ammo was cheaper and no shortage on 30-30!

I guess this reminds us of how many westerns were on TV back in those days. I think the theme song for "Have Gun Will Travel" is still my favorite. I was also surprised to find out that Johnny Cash sang the theme to "The Rebel."

Absolutely agree with you on this. I still prefer a natural look, not the rail thin models or the "plastic Playmate" look that seems to be considered the "ideal" for women these days.

Oh my goodness!  Now I remember why I dress & shoot cowboy all the time!  My wife doesn't understand when I carry a Ruger Vaquero Sheriff in .45 in a crossdraw, every now and then.  I sent the link to my kids and grandkids.  I remember every single one of them.  Molded a Cowboy in the 1950's and 60's.  It's probably why I don't understand grandkids molded as zombies.
