For most, ankle carry is not as concealable or accessible as you might think.  Loose fitting pants is a must and extra long and access must be well practiced.  If you're seated most of the time it may be ok.  You cant access your firearm while walking or running to cover or anywhere else.  Get some opinions before spending any money on an ankle rig.  For most, like shoulder rigs, they wind up in a drawer.

do not buy a cheap ankle holster.  you will not wear it long.  galco makes a good ankle holster. i used one for many mango seasons on the job with a j-frame.  i stopped when the pocket auto came out.  i still use a shoulder holster.  you got to learn how to dress around a ankle and shoulder holster. don't buy cheap.  galco makes a good one.

Desantis Apache ankle rig. I carry my Smith 442 in one as a backup or when there is no other option. Very comfortable and secure. Edited by daddyo

Totally aGree The ankle holster would be for my Backup.  Not primary carry.
